Hi
I have a 3D resin printer for the tiny more detailed prints and also a filament printer for the larger stuff.
However I was wondering what 3D design software everyone is using?
I have been using FreeCAD for parametric designs and prints. However I need to print things like stone walls and people.
I looked at Blender and that looks like I might need to take a year out to master the software. Especially for people!!
Regards
Ian

Not sure there are many on here with 3D printers.
Nurse, the screens!

i looked into a used one, but was horrified at prices of spools of plastic. Plus, i have a low threshold on tolerance and waiting many hours, plus electricity costs, made it a non starter. Those who use them. produce superb copies, hence my initial look.

I have a pair of 3D glasses from a 3D film I went to see once.

Sketchup. The free version supports export for 3-D printing. Plenty of instructional videos on site to get you started.
