Not sure if they are available everywhere, but in Lidl today, I picked up a set of oil paints (24 x 18ml tubes) for £4.99
Ideal for weathering, just add some suitable brushes.

Too cold for delicate work (locos) but doing a bit on my engine shed where temperatures are less critical.

I saw the paints in our LIDL -so must (usually are) have been available everywhere. They had oils, acrylic and watercolours available.
