That’s a big shed, the loco looks lost in the distance.

My new phone has a wide angle lens. (As well as standard and telephoto). ;)

Thanks for the comments, chaps - not finished yet. :|

Great job - it looks so real - especially the picture with the loco at the back of the shed.

More work on the shed roof. I wanted to simulate individual corrugated panel so having applied a grey primer I added a bottom edge to the panels with a slightly darker grey airbrushed on and using a strip of tape for a sharp edge. This was followed by a couple of coats of a black wash.

I then lightly picked out some of the panel edges with rust (oil paint) with a few light touches of a flat brush.

Using an old, worn brush I then pushed the oils up the panels away from the horizontal joints and along the vertical panel joints.

This gives a reasonable impression of the panels.

Two completed roof sections reusing the ventilation louvre from the old roof. Once this has dried I may have to give it a coat of Matt varnish to dull down the sheen from the washes.

Strange but close up I thought that’s not working but then a picture of the whole thing and wow, perfect.

I had my doubts at every stage Brian. :(

Before I added the rust I was preparing to respray the whole thing and start again. I bought some Matt varnish this morning but I need the oils to dry and try a test piece first as I’m likely to get a reaction between the paints. In this weather that’s going to take some time.

Ventured into the shed to start some rough brush painting of some 3D printed pieces this morning - to find that the fluid in my ultrasonic airbrush cleaner has frozen solid. I did not stay out there for very long. :D

Was minus 7 here at 0730 this morning. Not surprised it froze.
