O Gauge Figures For A Big Layout!
Re: O Gauge Figures For A Big Layout!
A masterful conversion.
And the Lord said unto John “Come forth and receive eternal life”, but John came fifth and won a toaster!

Oh, Dr Beeching what have you done?

I marvel at how someone can bring these plastic figures to life. A very good job you have done. As good as the work you have shown on another thread about your layout where I did for a moment think they were real life. Very good indeed.

I can see a cottage industry coming along. They are very good PT - you have great imagination and skill. R-

Another conversion., this time a guy leaning on his shovel has become Wilf The Window Cleaner.
He will be holding his ladder in his right hand once placed onto the lay out. Water is Gloss Varnish and his rag, seen hanging on the side of the Minerva bucket, is paper tissue painted with a matt white/matt varnish mix.

To add some verity to the Heyside figures I have started doing pattern clothes.
Work in progress but this will give an idea of how they will look.

They look wonderful, especially the patterned skirt. Well done, I don't think any of mine will look this good (if I ever get a round to it that is) .

Thank you Jim, I am sure they will. I only use simple techniques that are easy to copy.
