Hornby: A model world S2?

Post by Tricky Dicky »

What has happened to Hornby a model World S2? I turned on the Yesterday channel to watch the above only to find World War Weird instead. The same happens with both Catch up and on demand. Anyone know what has happened?

No Hornby knocking please they have their own forum for that.

Richard it is on UKTV or should be but there seems to be a problem. Will retry tomorrow.

Apparently it was pulled for ‘editorial reasons’. I surmise that the episode possibly gave away too much of tomorrow’s product announcement ahead of time given that the episode features TT.

We will of course find out in due course.

Some of the TT120 range announced today comes fitted with the new Triple Sound Bluetooth system - as part of yesterdays abandoned programme featured the TT120 Flying Scotsman, it may have given out information they did not want public before the launch.

No real secret as it was leaked by three individual sources ahead of time. Hornby mag digi edition, Railway Modeller posted out hardcopy 3-page spread and Reddit app full listing by R numbers. At the 11th hour and 59th minute hardly cause for major schedule disruption.

SKY still lists Hornby: A model world on Thursday as Series 1 Pt1 - Covers shrinking a Merchant Navy Class - same for Sunday. Will watch and see what appears.

In the headline it says Series 2 ep 1, but in the description it describes Series 1 ep 1. I guess we will have to watch it to find out.
