Hornby: A model world S2?

Well I watched 11 yesterday I can assure you no magic mushrooms were involved.

Not really Catch-up, just on line. It is also live TV the same as through an aerial.

S2E01 was hilarious
haha seeing the lady from the NRM forced gushing over TT FS only to see at the close of the programme the loco running on the layout with the wheels locked up
good to see they showed a true how a Hornby loco's runs! with lock wheels and running gear, yep totally unacceptable!

You don’t seem to like Hornby, perhaps it would be better if you didn’t watch the series, don’t want you to raise your blood pressure too much.

It was fairly obvious to most that the FS with locked-up wheels was SK's 00 gauge model that had been in the loft for twenty years. It was interesting that the original TT120 model, when first run, was pulling two Pullman coaches with operating table lights, which as I understand it, are not available in the current sets. Also the guy repairing the Rocket was human (unlike some modellers), he wired it up the wrong way - nobody on here never done that?
I would love to have seen the initial comments from the wife, having told her husband not to take the Rocket out of its box, which he then did, and broke it!
The history of Scalextric was interesting, I had a set back in the fifties, when the cars, one red and one green, with metal bodies were the only option - it created hours of fun for all the "adults" that attended our house over Christmas that year.
I look forward to the rest of the series.

I think we can all recognise and sympathise with the clumsy hand syndrome, Barry. I now keep a small container on the bench for various bits that I knock off models - one day I may stick them back on.

I like the fact the program covers everything past and present from the entire range long before Hornby owned them.

Not sure how the new TT model with loco drive could run with locked wheels - that shot was obviously his old tender drive model.Please pay attention if you are going to be a credible pundit.

The loco seen in the programme with locked drive wheels was a Tender Drive OO loco and I believe it may have been the one shown by SK earlier in the programme.

they were promoting the TT FS and the wheels were locked so why promote an old model, doesn't add up and doesn't make sense.
as far as I am aware they have never produced a FS in TT so why show footage of a FS in probably 00 gauge tender drive with locked wheels when trying to promote a new high spec model.
