Re: tenders
Sorry thought you were referring to GWR as you mentioned Collet tenders.
My second picture is an LMS 8F with a Fowler tender.

Re: tenders
So did I Brian........I'm confused ....Never mind I though I would add to my input earlier. About the LMS locos ending up far away as Neath and other Places. The chap who told me that, who worked for GWR during the war was probably quite right. During the war days I expect that many locos ended up in all sorts of places they would not normally have gone to. It was not normal times you know...............Just to say I prefer the look of the GWR 28xx rather than the LMS 8F but thy are both nice coal dragger's. ........John

Re: tenders
Just to add some thing about LMS locos not going further south than Abergavenny. That cannot be true as the LMS run down through Bath all the way down to Bournemouth. .....John

Re: tenders
I said it ran via Bath down to Bournemouth and followed from the boarder line to the north. I don't think it would be able to do that if it did not go through Hereford / Gloucester could it. Did you sort out your Tender question. John
