I vacuumed the railway room floor yesterday - what I could see of it! I seem to have "stuff" everywhere. The room is still the home for the "kitchen rolls", I managed to get rid of the toilet rolls to a new location - you have to beware the comment "Will this fit under your train boards?"

Easy day today, proof reading an updated user manual then a spot of lunch at a local hostelry and likely a nap later.
Every day is a work day when you are retired.

Been sawing up pallets to make bird boxes, I’m not making them. Now sitting with my feet up having a coffee typing this. Going out later with a mate for coffee and cake and a completely pointless chat. Perfect.

Watching the deck fitters (on cctv) replacing my composite decking planks that cracked up. Good reaction from the firm, not only did they replace the whole lot but also offered to do the job, even though they didn’t do the initial instal.
