Bespoke diesel depot - materials to recommend?

#1

Post by davidrivett »

Hi all,

I'm thinking of making my own bespoke diesel depot with adjoining offices / stores for my OO layout (late 80s / 90s themed) and was looking for advice regarding materials to use.

I'm not wanting to make this in card due to strength and warping over time, so prefer the plastic route.

The outer will be corrugated for the roof and sides, then brick at the lower section / foundation.

Can anyone recommend a supplier or specific type to use as I'm not experienced in the plastikard or styrene world?

Thanks in advance!
