Steve looking back at some of your excellent pictures I was interested in the cable hangers you attached along the embankment wall. Are these not usually only alongside track also used by the London Underground or have you branched out to include the Metropolitan Line on your layout.

Went to London today on the Chiltern Line to Marylebone. As we travelled along on the same track as the Metropolitan there were the hangers, thousands of them, but as soon as we veered off onto the Chiltern only track, they was all gone. :)

You are almost certainly correct Brian although I did find a couple of pictures on Google that had similar hangers alongside ‘ordinary’ tracks so I applied ‘Rule 1’. ;)

Tried some painting yesterday - rattle cans were fine but my injured elbow has caused a total loss of fine control in my left hand. Not my brush hand but it is the one I hold the models with and it’s difficult if the damn thing is moving all over the place. :o
Nevertheless, we have some rail chairs, lamps, a pack of dogs (my son’s lab and dachshund plus my two beagles) and some fuzzy cows in the background.

Life has got in the way a bit this week but after a number of attempts, I now have a plethora of buckets (plus lamps, churns, benches and two types of step ladder). I managed to get the scale completely wrong and the buckets turned into flower pots and the handles were so thin they actually moved in a breeze!

These aren’t permanently placed yet as it’s too cold in the shed but we also have some steps and some fuel tanks to add.

Just make sure West Orton is not over-run by cats and dogs. The detail is very good.

There are about five of each.
We could get some sheep next. And a couple more cows.
