Hornby Dublo 3 Rail
Need advice please on how to fit buffer stops to a sidings track…. Cannot make it work…

There are little metal springs at the bottom (The small wire-like things) which fit into tiny slotted holes in themetal track base. These hole slots are only found at one end of the track if I recall so one may need to turn the teack to the slotted side. Not sure if they are only found on straighttrack or not as my Hornby Dubo stuff is in storage.
Once those clips are in they will take a nice hit without parting with the track. Not to say one should run into the buffers!

The slots are found at one end of just the straight pieces. The spring clips just need to be manoovered into position.

I prefer ply. Sundeala needs a lot of support and doesn’t like getting wet which can be a problem if you are building scenery.
