Finding a Lost Draft

#1

Post by Tallpaul70 »

Help!
I have saved a draft on the system but now cannot find it , or the original post I was composing when I saved the draft!

Any idea how I get back to either so I can submit the post?

Many thanks
Paul

Click on the post reply button then you should see an option to restore the draft.

Paul, have you tried looking in your user User Control Panel? Click on your ID in the top right corner of this screen and then select the panel I refer to. Within there you will see Manage Drafts. If it's not there I suspect it is lost. R-

Would I be right in assuming you used the "quote" button Steve? That last post of yours is displaying TP's post in an odd way. Might be connected with why his image did not "attach" correctly. R-

Correct, but the quote place markers are not 100% as the last ] after the introduction text is missing, hence the incorrect displayed text.

Thanks Steve M, that worked.

Should be
[quote=Tallpaul70 post_id=4528 time=1544457617 user_id= (left facing closed square bracket here is missing)
Thanks Steve M, that worked.

When correct its....

Yes Roger, I was quoting, and took out the text I didn’t need. Obviously took out too much. :D

Easily done. I have tried to show the TP post and your reply correctly - and failed. Did we go to the same school? R-
