OMG! Roger (RJ) will be turning into a Fakir and not only having a Bed of Nails, but charming snakes out of their baskets and climbing ropes as after dinner tricks. :D :D ;) ;)

Seriously though a BoN is a great idea for keeping painted items off surfaces while wet with paint!

I have to confess that it's not my original idea. It's been used by professionals for many many years. I think there is a proper name for them but I can't remember what it is. A similar idea is used in pottery ovens for firing stacks of plates etc.

All you need now, Rog, apart from baseboard, is a set. From what i hear and read, your buildings are in for a tad of a wait. Hornby are confirming April for track packs. Dont seem to be able to offer a date for the sets, mention of a wheel problem. Seems a bit of an anti climax, as i was hoping mine would be here, this year. Your buildings look great.

Very good. Wish I’d painted the various parts before assembly. R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.
