Thanks again for the replies. Just been on the layout before seeing these replies, and done a bit of testing. Done it on slow and as you said, it short circuited.

I have included a couple of photos, and exactly where I have circled, is where the short circuit happens. As you can see I also removed the bogies off and moved it along by hand. It does seem to be just this loco that is having the issue. I tried again in both directions and all 4 Bogies stuttered as soon as it hit this point. So what would the next course of action be from your comments? Can you actually adjust the wheels on these Dapol loco's. The droppers, I have 4 sets on the inner track, one not long before the point, and one not far after. I have checked with a voltmeter, and there is a good flow of power going through.

Just read Brian Lamberts article. Very interesting, so I will look into doing that. Thanks for all the advice.

Thanks for all your help. This is now working ok, as I have it all ballasted, i didnt want to take it all up to put the insulated joiners in, so I thought if I tried just taking a cutting disk, and the slice through the 2 area's(If this didnt work, then I would have resorted to that) but as you can see from the video, seems to work. Not sure if the put a dab of glue in between the slits or not. I didnt need to put any extra feeders in, as already had enough( and from the sidings of the points as well. Tried a couple of steam locos as well. All seems fine!
Thanks again:

I would insert a small piece of plastic held with a dab of super glue. Then once set take a kraft knife or scapple and carefully trim the plastic to rail shape. Use a needle file if necessary to finally smooth the plastic. An alternative is to use Epoxy Resin to fill the gaps again trimming as necessary once cured.
