What weather for the weekend

#1

Post by footplate1947 »

What terrible weather to day, Up here in the north it looks like snow and blowing hard. To make matters worse I was looking forward to working on the new baseboards this week end, but yesterday I was using a screw driver and something went crack in my shoulder and shooting pain every time I try to use the driver or something like that. Lucky I have some pain killers handy. Stopped work now till it gets better.
It is not much fun getting older is it.. :( John

Crack sounds nasty. Maybe a call to 111 would be appropriate.

Haven't got the snow :) but it has tipped down all day. Get that shoulder checked just in case. R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.

Weather was dry and cold this morning but we've had rain and strong winds since about 1 or 2 o'clock.

We have not had snow here yet just rain.
The rain is getting strong now. Expect some white stuff by morning. We were going up to Eyemouth for fish and chips this afternoon but did not go because weather was rotten. There is one of the best chippy's in the world in Eyemouth. Its worth the 14 mile drive up the coast to eat in. It is run buy the same Italian family since 1900 also they serve and make the best ice cream you could find anywhere.

Hi John, glad to see you like Eyemouth, my late wife and I really loved it there - especially the fish and chips and ice cream!!! It reminds me of where I grew up in Folkestone on the Kent coast, slightly past it's best, but full of character, and fresh sea air.
Seasons greetings and hope to meet up with you in 2019.

Cold, windy and wet in Hampshire - since lunch-time it's been chucking it down.
