SEEP PM2 Point Motors on Peco Streamline Track

Hi All,

First time posting so I hope this is the right forum. I'm using Peco Flexi track and laying it streamline using the 6ft way gauge. That means I'm roughly 51mm between track centres.

SEEP Point Motors are about 55mm in diameter. So, when you have 2 adjacent points (which isn't uncommon) that makes it very awkward.

What solutions have people found? My instinct is to remove the red bits (see pic below) and try again... But I don't want to do so until I've heard alternatives. I also thought of screwing in a new hole and lining them up, but then the second one will be a different height

Thought SEEP point motors were rectangular.

This is an issue with all Seep PM1, 2 and 4 range where two Streamline points are exactly adjacent to each other.
The only way I have been able to get over this without staggering the two points a little, is to reduce each Seeps board length a little and if necessary drill a new fixing hole.

I vaguely remember having a similar issue with a scissor crossing - I overlapped the edges and added a couple of small plasticard spacers to the opposing end to lower one of the two motors.

That's actually really similar to one solution I was thinking of. I put a layer of 3mm cork under all my point motors to help quieten them anyway. So I'm considering doing 2 layers under one of the motors.
