I sympathise with you Brian, been suffering a bit myself recently, but nowhere as bad as you. Best wishes, hope you get well soon.

PS My late dad had shingles many years ago. Got some stuff from the doctor that had to be painted on to the sore parts and some painkillers.

Sorry to hear this Brian, especially on top of everything you have been through. I hope the treatment has improved a bit since my one and only shingles episode. Very painful doesn’t adequately describe it. Hope you are feeling better soon. R-

Best wishes Brian.
I’m eligible for the jab now and certainly plan to have it when it’s offered. Had a case of shingles just before a holiday some years ago - definitely took the shine off it.

That's not nice at all! Makes it even worse when one assumed one would be ok after having a jab.
All I can say is get better soon!

Best wishes Brian - I hope you will be feeling better soon. Not something I have experienced (Shingles) and hope I don't - I did have the jab last year.

Me and management both had the jab last year. She got shingles, but I didn’t. Not a very nice thing to suffer from.

I got shingles few years back and I only had bit of a rash and no ill effects. Goes to show it effects some more than others. I did not have chicken pocks when I was a kid.
