Good afternoon everyone. Before my question, thanks to the forum members who tried to help me with my derailing problem. After much head scratching, some cobbled setts had to be relaid and now the problem is no more.
Now for my question. I am about to make a simple wagon repair shed - 1930s era. Can anyone suggest the finish for the outside? Would it be stone, brick, timber, corrugated iron or a combination? It is a freelance layout but GWR in style. Thank you.

Re: Wagon repair shed
I would have thought anything you like as long as it looks right.
Could I just ask if your cobbled sets were between the rails and is so how did you do them please?

Re: Wagon repair shed
Thanks for your reply SR. As regards the setts (Wills plastic OO) I stuck card between the rails to raise the level of the setts. I then stuck the setts on top of the card. Careful measuring, cutting and paring of the plastic if needed was then carried out. Before the adhesive dried I ensured a wagon could run on the rails i.e. the flanges didn’t foul the setts. Hope this helps. If you need to know about painting them, just ask.
