Update
Update
Layout has track laid and DCC bus wired up [nearly without fault] and currently has my Class 08 doing circuits to run it in. That just leaves the sensors to wire up, they’re already in situ and points to fit and wire up. R-

Re: Update
You’re getting on well, Rog. Is your new garden smaller, allowing you more time for trains.
Re: Update
Yes, not only smaller but Astro turf. That and some pots and planters. R-

At least we know who to blame for global warming and flash floods.

Re: Update
Ok, all wiring is done [DCC bus, servos and sensors] nothing went bang, and TGG and sensor detection system is working as intended. Have run two trains using the HM7000 app without fault, but to be fair I was not very adventurous. Need to get some programming done on TGG, but for now on to the ballasting. R-

That’s good Roger. It’s very rewarding when things work as they are supposed to.
Nurse, the screens!

Re: Update
I found ballasting very therapeutic. I would do a yard/metre (?) and then think I'll do another section.
