Picked up an old Mainline Warship D824 HighFlyer at Ayr Model Railway Show at the weekend…….. immaculate condition but non-runner…….. might get around to fixing it some day ( suspect usual gear problems), but for now I have it running free and for £10 it makes a rather nice double-heading companion for my three other Warships.

Also I have finally managed to get my hands on a rare Dapol Blue SYP Class 22 to add to my growing Hydraulic fleet………. I have been after this for sometime so delighted to get a brand new one on eBay and for a fair price.

Great pictures Richard - your buildings really do blend in well with the backscenes - the castle looks fantastic.

Thanks Barry……. In a bit of a holding pattern at the moment as I look to create additional space to extend the layout and remodel several major aspects……suspect this will be a 2024 project, so just dreaming and playing trains in the interim.

Cheers Richard

Talking about addictions…… Blue Hymek D7056 arrived at Portencross earlier today and after acceptance trials ( ie rolling road session), it was immediately released for service….
