Had a bit of a result this week. For a long time now one of my ageing class37s has not been running well, it has been on the repair and maintenance bench now for some time. It appeared to be a problem with the pickups, I was always cleaning them to no great improvement. So sent an email to Bachmann spares and after a bit of discussion I got too new bogies with a slightly different pickup arrangement, what a difference, runs lovely now.
