Here are the pictures of my recent purchases

The 94Xx loco has extra pickups fitted for the rear driving wheels as lima tank locomotives only have pickups for 4 out of the 6 wheels and 2 of them ( on the middle axle are not even connected to the coupling rods ). The 66 now has extra pickups on the unpowered bogie for the right hand running rail and now runs without stalling although it still needs work to improve traction and quieten it down but that is something I can do over time.

The Lima 94xx is oe of the few locos that escaped my grasp when I used to model the GWR in my teens and 20's. Also wanted Neath Abbey Castle but it was out of my budget range at the time... Oh... And the Wrenn Clun Castle was more of a dream than reality at the price it was! Why today is puzzling how Wrenn items have dropped in price lately, as they really are well built things!

If you do an ebay search for lima locomotives on buy it now, there is possibly a good chance of finding 1 as during my searches I also found a 94XX but dcc fitted which was up for £22.99 + p&p but that ended a few days before my 94XX arrived.

You never know, you could strike lucky if you're still wanting 1 of them.

New purchase of two Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway gunpowder vans as the steam railway layout is set in timescale 1914/1919.
Also purchased is one North British Railway gunpowder van. (I live in the land of the former NBR and like the van.)
