Painting and Weathering Service
Re: Painting and Weathering Service
Steve - remember no timescale for this one so just fit it in when life is out of the way and you feel creative.
Thanks

Thanks Richard - appreciated.
Maybe I’ll do the tricky bits under anaesthetic.

First day for a while that doctors, dentists, work and the memsahib haven’t got in the way - made some good progress as a result.
I’ll leave these transfers to thoroughly dry out, maybe a couple of days, then apply a coat of satin varnish to seal them before reassembly of the model.

Re: Painting and Weathering Service
I regret to say that it’s time to call an end to my ‘commercial’ painting activities.
Unfortunately, time marches on and arthritis is making detailed painting more difficult, and while I will still continue to paint my own stuff, it would not be the right thing to offer my services to others if the standard starts to slip.
Thanks to all my customers for their support over the last few years - I learned a lot at your expense.

Re: Painting and Weathering Service
I agree with Brian (WTD) - some fantastic work Steve, but age marches on . I am finding that crawling around on the floor underneath boards is not as easy as it was ten years ago when I started my layout. Thankfully the eyesight is still good.
