Hornby Pullman coaches

Can’t the bogies be removed without opening the coach or is that a of the past. They used to just pull out.

I am afraid not, I have already spotted screws under the bogies in the bodyshell, and the parts diagram appears to indicate that the cam plates are screwed to the body, but the screws are inaccessible with the bogie in situ.
BTW -this is the third variation in body assembly that I have come across on Hornby Pullman Coaches. The paint colours vary as well; in fact, one version has silver roofs which looks odd among a load of off-white ones. Paint brushes to the rescue.
