I first saw Gazelle at the Army Transport Museum in Beverley many years ago when we took the kids camping on a nearby site.
I next saw her on a trip to Kent in 2014 at the Colonel Stephens museum on the K&ESR where I took this photo.

I am impressed that in origional form it hit 43mph. Many larger shunting locos never hit such speeds! But it was designed for mainline light duty use.
For what it was designed for it was a success. A fascinating loco.

I have seen pictures of this loco before as Cornel Stevens also at one time owned the Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway.

I pressed the thumbs up button but now it shows thumbs down? Should show thumbs up, so I removed it as I didn't want it to show thumbs down.

You do loads of excellent research. Must take ages!
