Thanks bb I'm really pleased with it.
I've wrestled the loft room back as it was my eldest daughters bedroom but since she has now flown the nest I've got use of it again :D
Just need to have a good tidy up and organizing before I get underway. I'm glad I haven't rushed into doing the layout though as I've now decided to use a lot more of the room for it than I had originally planned, it's been in the planning for quite a while now but hopefully I'll get it rolling in the next couple of months 🤞

Cheers,Lee.

Good luck with your new project. Sounds like an interesting project with lots of potential for interesting workings.

Thank you for the comments. It is indeed exciting and I look forward to getting it underway ( work and house chores permitting  ) I have a plan in my head of what I want to achieve but I keep on revising them so I want to make sure that I have as much as I can worked out before nailing anything down :D I'll be sure to update as and when I start though 👍

Cheers,Lee.

I have been buying a few things lately from someones collection as they are changing scale. Scratch and kitbuilds. One or two surprized me. One loco looks like a Hornby "Smokey Joe" but its body has been entirely cast out of metal! Uses the standard plastic Smokey Joe chassis though. The weight of the thing is impressive! Bound to be a good puller!

Post your plan on here for folk to throw rocks at. That will save you loads of head scratching and the collective mind will foresee any pitfalls that you can't see.

A recent E-Bay purchase to replace a similar one that has given up the ghost : a Bachmann Ivatt Class 2 2-6-2 tank, number 41324.
Seen here on a main line duty, but as she is Push-Pull fitted she'll probably be used mainly on the branch passenger service.

Despite being 21 years old (according to the guarantee certificate in the box) she is in 'as new' condition and ran well straight from the box.

A little while ago, I picked up a small rake of assorted goods wagons...

The brown wagon isn't common in Sweden, but were seen in some areas. The 'Arla' milk tanker is actually metal.. i'm wondering if I could convert it to a 'stealth' track cleaning wagon.
