Vintage tractors.
Vintage tractors.
Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. I am constructing a layout set in 1944, in the north east of Scotland. I am trying to source a pre-second world war agricultural tractor or two, to complete the farm sections of the layout. The only one I have been able to find so far is a German Lanz. Not brilliant for a wartime set layout. Anyone know where I might find something suitable?
Re: Vintage tractors.
Hello gomlett, I don't know any sources for your tractor but I wanted just to welcome you to the forum. Look forward to hearing more from you when convenient. R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.

Re: Vintage tractors.
Many thanks Brian. You got me excited there (not difficult at my age). I have looked at so many suppliers' sites. This one didn't ring any bells, but having visited it, I realised I had been there before. The tractors they show are all Oxford Diecast and are all post war - not by much admittedly, but enough to take them past the 1944 cut-out date. I have that date because have incorporated a second world war airfield into the lay out, as my interests fall into both camps.
Re: Vintage tractors.
I wasn't sure of their real production dates.

Hi Brian. Just the ticket. What an amazing site. I have ordered the Ferguson 20hp tractor 1936. Thank you so much, I will definitely use the site again if it turns out OK.
Re: Vintage tractors.
I can't guarantee the quality of the build, but I will do my best and upload it. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY.
