Hello All,
Great forum looking forward to reading the various topics. Been more years than I like to remember when I was last involved in model trains. My interest was again prompted by an accidental find on ebay with an Aussie seller offering 00 gauge stuff obviously from over there. Of course things then started to get out of control rapidly as these things tend to do. I am just at the moment having a go at converting 2 rail locos to 3 rail. Been researching for weeks now and breaking my neck to have a go. Looks like being a DIY project as regards the a dual skid plates as they don't seem to be available any more from what I can see. Don't mind the DIY bit though.

Thanks everyone. Haven't had a lot of time to check out a real lot but impressed with what I have seen so far. Got a couple of questions to ask later.

Like the sound of 3 rail. Plus it's very cheap compared to 2 rail. Got to admit the power rail clips are something else. I am thinking I will do away with them completely and wire each rail section rather than have connection problems when track is permanently laid out.
