A significant event.

I have at last been listed for cardiac surgery to repair/replace a Mitral Valve at Harefield Hospital...I'm booked in for next Tuesday morning 0830 hrs.
Whilst I have every confidence in the procedure and personnel one can't help feeling a measure of anxiety......I'm fortunate in having family to rally round and take care of Mrs H whilst I'm away, hopefully for just 5 days if all goes to plan.....have been advised that I'm not allowed any gardening, lifting and ,worst of all, no driving for 6 WEEKS.....aargh.
Howard.
Sorry I'm late but I couldn't get my flip-flops to work

Good luck with the procedure Howard. The NHS are brilliant once you get past the waiting lists.
