Thanks Brian - I think you might be right. I was looking at the real thing, and it is a hefty chunk of cable. I'll see what's in the wire box.

Put your wellies on and measure the real stuff with a ruler.
Might make for an interesting light display. :?

I might give that suggestion a miss Steve - I once saw a guy put a road drill through a mains cable in the road - not a pretty sight :(

That looks more 'robust'. Spot on, I would say.

Thanks Steve - I might just strip off a couple of mm's of the outer covering, and stick the bare wire to the rail, with a coat of paint it won't have the "just glued on" look.

Back under the boards again :( Four Peco solenoids removed, four Cobalts iP's to be fitted - and some tidying up of the wiring. These point motors are for two Peco 3-way points - could be tight fit?
