First effort, not quite right, too much flock on the branches, but quite happy. It certainly has been worth the effort growing seafoam, I’ve enough to do Sherwood Forest
Re: Seafoam Trees - well eventually
Now that's commitment for you, grow your own, bravo
The price of seafoam has certainly gone up in price over the last few years, I used to buy it for my 1/35 scale dioramas and it was relatively cheap but I've been looking at some recently for my upcoming layout and I was surprised at the leap in cost for a small amount, well I suppose it's keeping in line with everything else
Cheers,Lee.

Silly question here from the other side of the world, how do you stop it from dying. It looks like it's still alive.
Re: Seafoam Trees - well eventually
It is dead, don’t ask me why, but that’s just what it does, just dies off. This was the crop from one pack of seeds. And just so easy to grow. Well worth the effort considering the price of boxes of it.
These are the more refined trees than the first effort. I can’t take the credit for the purple buddleia.

They really do look good - I expect the sales in seeds to go up over the next few weeks

I assume there are other suppliers.

Thank you BB. I hope others take the plunge, they really are simple to grow and the benefits ouststanding. The only thing I didn’t do was dip them in glycerine and hang upside down with weights to straighten - a majority do not grow straight, but then how many straight trees are there?
