Yelrow - John Worley

#1

Post by RogerB »

With great regret we received news this morning of John’s passing. A copy of Heather’s e-mail is attached. I can’t think of any better words right now than those of hers, his wife of many years, to add.

Hi

I am sorry to be the bearer of sad tidings put John sadly passed away yesterday.

It was a relief really as he had been in great pain.

I know that he greatly enjoyed your friendship and looked forward to hearing your news and views.

Please could you let his friends on the Forums know as that would be a great help.

Kind regards

Heather

John will be missed on a number of forums.
Always an active contributor with a wealth of experience not only in model railways, but also from the many varied job positions he held. His tales of life in rural France will be sadly missed.
Condolences to Heather and his family.
RIP John.

That is terribly sad. I had made a good friend of John and had the occasional chat with him on the phone. Very sad.

That's terribly sad news. I have known John through various forums for a number of years. He always attended the Model Railway forum Zoom meetings we used to hold at Christmas. He will be sadly missed and I offer my condolences to Heather and the family. Barry
