track points on a dock scene

hi been away from this great hobby due to illness , but now better and i want to do another small dock scene, question is how do i disguise points ? going to be cobble stone ground work using das clay, but not sure on how to cover the points or how to disguise them its will be a dc layout, hope you can help cheers bob

DAS modelling clay can do it though make sure it does not get in the area of the blades. Other people use card, and Metcalfe do cobblestone card that sticks in place. (I have not used it myself).
On a past layout I used plaster of parris for a level crossing and it worked well.
