Re: WEST ORTON
I bit the bullet this morning and put together two versions of the telephone poles for a full print rather than a kit based approach.
First test print completed and I have spotted a mistake! I have inadvertently increased the depth of the cross arms - not a total disaster but it has made the insulators oval rather than round.
I'll correct that tomorrow (hopefully). In the meantime I have a 20 hour print on the go which will a) test the supports and orientation and b) produce none poles in one go.

I suspect my reply would need to be moderated.

Not this time Barry. You may recall I added wires to the poles on Shaddeholme using Ezy Wire - very good product but doesn't play well with sunlight.
A 20 hour print has just finished using the normal resin (looks ok apart from the oval insulators ) so I have another one running with corrected dimensions. I've also fired up my old printer with some ABS like resin which should be a little more robust for 'exposed' poles.

P.S. I spoke too soon.
One leg of the double post version has suffered from insufficient supports. Revised versions to be tested overnight.
