I'm always on the lookout for ww2 era and war department items for the layout so im glad that I came across this. If I remember correctly 9 of these locos were sent over to France around 1940 and I think only 5 returned after the war,Cheers, Lee.

Hello WTD, I believe it was an hornby members club edition. There's an hand written 2015 date on the box so I'm not sure if that's when this version was released I'm always on the lookout for ww2 era and war department items for the layout so im glad that I came across this. New addition to the rolling stock. A six wheeled All Third carriage in Great Central Railway livery. I know they are generic, but the size is ideal for the layout and not 'overpowering it'.
