I'm not sure I really needed this, but what the heck it's Christmas :) This is a Collectors Club loco.
It's a very fragile locomotive, and needs very careful handling. There is a screw in the base of the plastic case which holds the loco in place - if you are not aware of this, you could cause damage to the operating mechanism.

Looks very good. I was tempted- up to a point. Decided it was a nice to have rather than a need to have.
Hornby were flogging off a load of L&MR coaches at their sale this weekend - all on boxed sets but missing Rocket. Returns via customer services with faulty locos?

This was a nice to have purchase Steve - certainly not need! It requires a N18 decoder - I have the HM7000 sound version - not sure it will fit? I might also get a set of wagons so that it is complete - Accurascale??

Now the fun begins :o This all looks terribly complicated, but it is actually very straightforward. The difficult part is trying to keep it all neat and tidy.

That is a great deal of stuff! Setting that up and getting it working should be satisfying.

Hopefully - and only two wires controlling twenty five Cobalt iP point motors.
