Name That Loco Competition.

#1

Post by Pannier Tank »

I have started this thread on the Gauge O Guild forum and it is proving to be vey popular so thought I would do it to my favourite forum too.

I will post a cropped photo of a loco which a member has to correctly identify. Who ever gets it correct posts another cropped photo and we have to try and identify that. The person who identifies that does the same and so on.

I will keep score. Also to make it more fun there will be a prize, donated by me, for the first person to get to 25. Prize will be a loco crew of your choice, painted by me, (OK it's not a great prize but it could be useful). I know every one has their own tastes in style of figure painting so if the winner would prefer to have them unpainted then that is fine too.

Please don't make them to difficult and once correctly identified post the whole photo and tell the super spotter they are correct.

Who ever gives the first correct answer and once verified by the person who posted the photo, posts another cropped photo and we have to try and identify that. The person who identifies that does the same and so on.

You can use un named loco's too, so they type, e.g 56xx can be used as an answer.

John :)

Wrong answer - what you see may not be what it really is!

Correct Brian - 34046 Braunton in disguise.

The problem is I don't have a picture of it as Braunton - this was 2016 and it ran as Lord Dowding for sometime.
