I’m not normally one to knock the manufacturers but today I will make an exception.

When the new range was announced I put in my pre-orders and was surprised to get an email within a few days announcing the arrival of the first one, and confirming that payment had been ‘taken’.
In the past such orders have usually arrived within a couple of days but this time it’s twelve days and the order is still ‘processing ‘.

I know it will turn up when it’s good and ready but the process does seem a little tardy this time round.

When I ordered my new Unimat Metalline kit, I was surprized how fast it came. The gentleman said it would be here the next day. Normally for where I live, next day is actually two days. Post usually gets to the nearest citty but not to the door until the next day. But this time, it took less then 18 hours to get here.

It arrived today, GWR Railcar no. 24. Run in this morning and a couple of details added - photos to appear on Low Ghyll.

Love it I had this set and when we moved few years ago the box it was in never arrived at the new house. My fault I wrote on the box. Stevenson's Rocket I guess one of the van crew took a shine to it, I am going to replace it when I find one and if the price is right.

Lovely little set, and rare in good working condition................john
