1960s Sussex

Hi all, been building my layout for about 2 1/2 years, had a few periods where not much activity happened for a month or so, so I reckon I'm about 50% through my build. Loosely based on a mid-1960s British railway period as I wanted steam, diesel, DMUs and EMUs. Station layouts are of no resemblance to actual stations, but I'm using some of my local station names in Sussex. Thought I'd post some photos of "the journey" so far...

Coo! How do you keep it so tidy ? To do anything with mine means upsetting the whole place. I dare not take a photo of my base-boards at the moment .

Thanks for the positive feedback - I’m sure I don’t need to say every new stage presents a huge hurdle in learning to do a myriad of things, I’ve started adding some colour light signals to the extremities so that I can bring the baseboard inwards and so begin work on the terminus station and depot, but every time I think about doing that I look at areas that will become difficult to access so I think should I improve the scenery while I still can... everything is a compromise I guess...
