Hell of a lot of snow here this afternoon. We were expecting some sleet but after 30 minutes had this. Much worse now.

We went for a drive today from Norham and took circular tour across to Peebles then down to Moffat passing through some of the most Beautiful country In the Borders and Lowlands of Scotland, Most of it was Snow covered and all I can say is it was a wonderful days drive seeing everything covered in snow. All the roads were fine and kept well clear. .................. We had a lovely day in the snow..............John

Was driving past St Mary's Loch A 708 and saw an old AA telephone box all restored like new standing by the side of a house near St Mary's Village. Have not seen one of those for many years.
