Dont want to be a jobs comforter but you know the old saying. if New York gets it we normally get it few days later. I only hope we don't have a repeat of the Beast from the East like last March.

We had a bit of snow last night but it didn't settle. Quite cold and frosty this morning but it was pretty sunny and pleasant during the day.

You two can mock if you like ..................... But I just looked at the weather for tomorrow up here and it is going to be a skating rink on the roads by the look of it Minus 4 ,,,, and I have to drive all along the border to Carlisle Sandy has to see doctor about an op she is having. What a day to choose for a 160 mile drive. At least it is going to be sunny Hope the roads are well salted. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the good wishes Brian expect they will have it all well salted Only parts which worry me is there are a some high passes where it was snowing today I believe. So we may get turned back if some roads are closed. What will be will be............

Dropped down to -7.5 c driving home from Glasgow Airport tonight, so go carefully out there tomorrow morning......., just relieved my flight from Amsterdam got out on time as heavy snow was forecast there for this evening........ the joys of business travel and I get to do it all again next week !
