.... just relieved my flight from Amsterdam got out on time .... and I get to do it all again next week!

I commuted to Schipol every week (from Gatwick) for two years. Once spent 8 hours on the aircraft on the stand watching snow ploughs clearing the runways. I think we got de-iced about 4 times but eventually got away - thank goodness. Glad I don't do it now. R-

Only -1 now. Got quite warm walking the dog. Nice solid crispy ground, much better than mud.

I’m supposed to be outside erecting a 10X18ft steel shed today but we’ve decided to leave it until later. We have constructed a side and an end but it’s too cold to handle.

I was supposed to be outside making a screen then mowing the lawn but at 39C I sat with a cold beer in front of an aircon
