I am new to all this and not very electrically minded. I need help on if/where to insert IRJ’s on a basic Hornby double track and siding, with points on all tracks. The power supply is via a Gaugemster type D double controller.
I have plastic rail joiners if I need to use them. Can someone advise ( via a simple diagram) , if possible, where they would need to be placed. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Re: Advice on Insulated rail joiners
Theoretically you shouldn't normally need any IRJs with Hornby points as they are self isolating "dead frog" points but you are best to fit 2 IRJs between the two points that join the inner loop to the outer loop to prevent interaction between the controllers connected to the two loops.
The 2 IRJs are marked in pink.
