Weed killing train

Hi guys
I want to make up a weed killing train circa mid 1960's to use a a track cleaning train.
Do's any one have any idea of there set up .All help appreciated.

In 1960 the older weed-killing trains were still about many composed of former locomotive tenders converted to water carriers with vans to store the chemicals and to accommodate the sprays. The Southern Region trains used two PMVs with six tenders and a 'pillbox brake van, and there were two different trains. On one the tenders still looked like tenders but on the other one the old tender body had been removed and replaced with cylindrical tank but retaining the 6 wheel chassis..

During the 1960s Fisons and Chipmans started using their own trains instead, see https://www.rcts.org.uk/features/carria ... ges/Fisons These used old carriages with a few proper tank wagons on the formation. A photo showing one of these trains is attached.

Now I can put my old odd lima carrages to good use.
