Excellent idea and if I mess up first time I'll have 9 more opportunities to get it right!

I cleaned the paint of the bulbs tonight and within 10 minutes due to the heat generated this was the result :roll:

Just be careful what you buy on 'ropey' sites like Ebay :D :D

I know that last comment was tongue in cheek, but it's wrong to blame eBay, it's the seller who uses eBay as his selling platform that is to blame.

Quite a few of us have bought lights from China via eBay without any problems - I recommend either wehonest_cn or everestmodel as sellers with good reputations and products.

I live in hope as I have 20 for a tenner on the way via amazon. On the plus side they were described as led lights.

If you buy via Amazon you have their protection. If you need to contact the buyer always do so via the Amazon messaging service and not direct.

yes Steve it was tongue in cheek, and I have also used the aforementioned sellers without problems on previous occasions.
