I cleaned the paint of the bulbs tonight and within 10 minutes due to the heat generated this was the result

I know that last comment was tongue in cheek, but it's wrong to blame eBay, it's the seller who uses eBay as his selling platform that is to blame.
Quite a few of us have bought lights from China via eBay without any problems - I recommend either wehonest_cn or everestmodel as sellers with good reputations and products.

I live in hope as I have 20 for a tenner on the way via amazon. If you buy via Amazon you have their protection. yes Steve it was tongue in cheek, and I have also used the aforementioned sellers without problems on previous occasions.
