No real problem to fit lights, either chep via diy or a more expensive kit like Express Models.

Not saying no lights was a problem, just pointing out some of the reasons they able to offer this one quite a bit lower than ie Hattons or Bachmann. I think we would be more miffed if there was not a big price difference, so thumbs up to Hornby for not selling it at a much higher price, hope its financial success for them so us less well of modellers can afford a few new ones every now and again.
