Free with this month’s Railway Modeller and an opportunity to try some slightly different techniques.

Overall spray with Halfords grey primer followed by a couple of dirty washes, one brown, one black.
Rusty highlights on strapping and hinges (powder mixed with Decalfix). Soot, green and sand powders for the roof and bottom two planks. Masking tape patches on the roof. Rust and chipped paint on the metal vents at each end and an overall coat of satin varnish.

Gosh that great, but I don't think the low loader needed to move it and cranes at both ends of the journey to lift it fall within our budget!

Not a great deal of modelling recently apart from adding a Wills pillbox kit next to the tunnel. Weathered with washes and powders, then blended into the embankment with static grass and poly fibre.

Hi Steve ..........Like it very much. Lovely modelling. Would like to see a shot of the station if you have one. Full width if possible. John
