Thanks Chris. I try to have something different to the 'norm'.

Here are some more pictures of the Scrap Yard in its final form (I think). :)

Young Jimmy Marston is still fixing the wheel on the wagon. Max, the guard dog is wandering along to see 'what the problem is'?

Agnes Marston is much happier. She has a garden; albeit much smaller than before.

Here she is, with her dog, going to the shops.

Fencing and outside toilets still to do.

Memories of living in a stone built cottage (near Dewsbury) in the 1960s that had an outside toilet come back.

Great to see the rebuild moving at pace but at the same time retaining old the old cameos and characters - nice job.

Thanks for your comments, Hound Dog. The rebuild is taking a lot longer than I anticipated, but I can see the end (in the far distance).

Until I get some more fencing here are a couple of pictures.

Postman Pat Clifton is on his round with two dogs that are 'on a walk' with him.

Some new fencing added. The outside toilets to finish.

New fencing at the level crossing.

When I lived in Leeds, I used to deliver mail to a school near Roseville Road. If my memory serves me right, it was an old building then and may now be demolished. As the layout for both Diesels at Crown Point and Steam Trains to Sovereign Street are now set firmly in Leeds, here is 'Roseville School'.
It has been 'modernised with central heating'. Roof repairs done. A small playground added.

Still a lot to do. :)

Being able to see the road much better, I can 'ring the changes' with my other collections of road transport and buses.

Anyone following Steam Trains to Sovereign Street will now know Crown Point Yard was built by the Calder Railway. At the end of steam BR converted Crown Point Yard to a small engine shed and stabling point. Therefore here we have Crown Point and Sovereign Street fifty or so years later.

Running diesels

With the new layout I can run trains longer than three coaches. Class 55 55016 Gordon Highlander on a diverted London Kings Cross to Leeds Central.

Class 55 55019 Royal Highland Fusilier on the return to Kings Cross.
