Really like that, look forward to more images and the inglenook when you start it. Very nice indeed.
Thanks Carl for the comments, I’m looking forward to planning my inglenook once my dioramas are completed.

Hi I have added a few more items to my diorama, a broken cog wheel discarded be the side of the track and an old metal bucket. Today I’m going to start using some weathering powders on the track are. This is my first time using them

Hi the weathering has been completed on the track bed area, I’m pleased with the results as it brings the whole diorama to life.
Here is a few pictures..

Thanks brian1951, I put some sleeper grime along the edge of the rails but I need something a bit more rust coloured. Can you suggest anything.

Hi with me being interested in steam locomotives and rolling stock. I thought I would model a small diorama of a trainspotter watching rolling stock.
The base is an oak plinth 136mm x 86mm ideal for little model dioramas. The scene is set in a typical yard where a GWR ventilated van has been shunted in.
Some progress has been slowly happening while I wait for the plinth to arrive. The stone walls and lamp hut have been built painted and then weathered using the dry brushing technique.
