Only just got around to trying them out as I've been very busy with volunteer work. Happy with the way that they work apart from one thing, they appear to reduce the flexibility of the whole train increasing the friction between the flange and rail on curves, to the point that the loco that had a slippage problem, a Dean Goods, was brought to a complete halt, even after cleaning the track and wheels. Even get some slipping at 'goods' speed on an R4 curve with a 3% gradient, with my Super Claude D16/3. So not an unmitigated success.
